This course is designed for those students who wish to complete both Level 2 and Level 3 qualification together. It is designed for those students have a career in professional dog grooming. You will cover a variety of styles and techniques which will enable you to groom all types of pet dogs.

The Open College Network course is Designed for those who have no prior dog grooming experience but who wish to learn the underpinning knowledge of dog grooming, this course will allow you to have enough knowledge to complete doggy styling on your own. You will also gain a recognised qualification.

For those who are working within the industry and have the training and experience to a Level 2 standard and would like to gain a nationally recognised qualification.

(A minimum of 6 month full time assistant status within the industry is required and a witness statement).

For those students who already hold a Level 2 qualification 77/7863-02 and have a minimum of 6 months full time grooming experience.

(An evidence portfolio will be required for recognition of prior learning)

The Open Learning Courses are designed for those students who are already working within the industry and who have completed their Level 2 qualification.

These students will be competent dog groomers and be able to groom a dog in a breed standard trim in suitable timescale.

You will be required to put together a portfolio of evidence. Proof of working within the industry and certificate will be need for this course.
